YELLOW EQUISETUM TOWERS TRIO

SCULPTURA BOTANICA, a sculptural exploration of plants and plant parts at Sherman Library and gardens in Newport Beach, California. The exhibition runs May 15th-Sept 15th 2020. This is a site specific installation of over 150 sculptures displayed throughout the gardens.  Some of the sculptures highlight aspects of plants that may not normally grab attention while others are flights of fancy. Many of the pieces are meant to recall the moment when one first “meets” a plant in person, that  sense of awe.
